If where you live is anything like where I live, then you are experiencing that final burst of summer weather. RELISH IT! Wear those shorts one last time before packing them up, never to be seen again until next summer. Play around with colors and thin layers that you can show off all day before that over-sized coat becomes the key piece around which the rest of your outfit revolves. Most importantly GO OUTSIDE! Fluorescent lighting does nothing for those clothes you spent sooo much money on buying and that outfit you spent sooo much time putting together. Nothing makes a wardrobe pop like the sun and natural surroundings.
